Publishing

Once you have entered all the information for the changelog, you can publish the changelog in different formats in different folders. This can be a changelog in markdown format in the repository or HTML for your website.

Open the publishing panel with the key combination ⌘ 2 via the menu item View > Show Publishing or by clicking on the publish symbol in the toolbar. In this publishing area, you can create the target for numerous changelogs.

Targets

First, create a new target by selecting a template in the menu with the plus sign Plus on the right side. In the file dialog that appears, select the folder where you want to save the changelog.

New Target

A new line will now appear in the list of targets and a changelog is published. In this target line, you can select another template using the template menu.

Target Row

You can choose a new target location and a different file name if you click on the folder Folder icon. If necessary, you can delete the item by clicking on the trash can Trash icon. You can exclude a target when you publish the changelogs by deselecting the Publish checkbox.

To create a changelog for multiple languages, make numerous targets for the template. Then set the desired language in the language menu Language.

You will then have to change the file name according to your preferences.

  • /destinationfolder/changelog_en.md
  • /destinationfolder/changelog_de.md

Once you have created all the settings for the different changelogs, click on the Publish button to publish everything.
